Grimes – Heritage Defender

Grimes started as a fairly average Defender 90, which was solid, but just needed a little love.  The chassis was in average shape, the motor ran well, and she was a solid donor to begin the transformation.

Grimes was completely disassembled down to the chassis.  Each panel was individually body worked and painted, to achieve a top-quality finish.  The color transformation from white to green gave Grimes the classic heritage style we were looking for.

The simplicity of Grime’s design and build will ensure she remains a valuable asset for years to come. In addition, the complete mechanical overhaul and addition of air conditioning will make this a reliable and comfortable daily driver.
