The Base Restoration
This 1992 Land Rover Defender 90 came to us from a local Maxxis Tyre dealership. They used it for deliveries and for picking up stranded customers. It had a crazy vinyl wrap covering most of the Defender, so we didn’t even know what it would look like when we took it off.
A Timeless Classic
We wanted to make a second generation of our Rebel Defender 90 Series – which was designed to be a rugged Urban Explorer Defender. But with this version we wanted to take it to the next level by adding 4-wheel discs, aggressive MT tyres, and front/rear ARB air lockers. We went with a deep Santorini Black finish and a set of panoramic side windows.
Heritage + Style
The 200Tdi engine was stripped bare, rebuilt, detailed, and re-assembled. We wanted the Defender to look just as good as it could mechanically as it did visually. The resulting combination is vehicle that can go from the deep trails to the cocktail bar without hesitation.
