Base Build

Sopris is part of the Bishop+Rook family. She started as our development Defender, where we tested new things: marine stereo, soft-top kits, wheel packages, etc. But as we continued to have little adventures with her (summer and winter), we realized our little bikini-top clad D90 wasn’t going anywhere soon.

Restoration Approach

This Defender has 66,000 original miles and drives like a dream. We drive her as she is, with a few bumps and bruises.  We love her character and style.  She brings a smile to everyone’s face when they drive her or simply walk past her. Our goal is to treat her well over the years and slowly update her over time.
