The Bishop+Rook team continues to work on Project Toto.
On the last episode of Defender Rescue, we introduced you to Project Toto – a 1987 Land Rover 110 we recently acquired. In reviewing the paperwork that came with the vehicle, we uncovered a very interesting provenance.
While born in Solihull, England, this particular Land Rover spent the first part of its life roaming West Africa.
Based on a diplomatic mission in Lagos, Nigeria, her first caretakers put on nearly 100,000 KM over a period of 5-years exploring the region before Overlanding home with a group of fellow Land Rover driving diplomats.
With such a documented history, we decided it was best that we try to preserve as much of her originality as possible. This episode will feature the beginnings of this process.
